Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     You know what I really hate on fb? That everyone can see the comments I make on other people's statuses and walls and such in their live feed, even if its not a friend in common. Is there any way I can turn this off?

    It depends on the other persons privacy settings, what you do shows up on your page (i.e. Anja commented on Jack's status) but if my privacy settings don't allow strangers to view my stuff then the can't see what you put or not all of it anyway.
