Me too. At least I have managed to switch to Diet Coke. For what it's worth.

 

Oh groan, I just remembered it's the royal wedding today.

 

I like Diet Coke but they only have the 500ml bottles here not the big ones.

I don't you'll like it though.

 

It's kind of depressing but I do like it.

 

So my co-workers wanted our admin to set up a TV link for our PCs to watch the wedding today. He, of course, refused to do that but he sent a youtube link. Now they can watch it all. One of my co-workers even wanted to wear a hat to work today.

 

Co-worker: Bring a hat, too!
Me: But I only have this pseudo cowboy straw hat which I bought for the beach in Florida...
Co-worker: Doesn't matter! Bring it! We could put a big flower on it or something.

 

I like the way our sigs match now, Jack. It's the cyber equivalent of matching tracking suits for couples.

 

How is it depressing? it sort of has this long alleyway of architecture naturally framing the center scene with the cat which appears to be gazing out into the unknown....it's rather surrealist..but not depressing.

And you don't have to use it, I just made it because I liked the image.

Of course I'm using it, if someone goes to all the trouble to make a sig for me I use it. And I like it. I think it's a bit depressing because the atmosphere is quite dark and dusky and there's a certain melancholy in the way the cat is gazing into the distance, like in an 18th century Romanticism painting by Caspar David Friedrich.


I'm not sure what kind of hat she'll wear, I can't wait for her to show up!!

I think it has something of an ominous undertone to it, as if seen through the eyes of someone who needs to descend those steps but are uncertain of what awaits them at the bottom, signified through the spectre of the black cat, a clear portent of ruinous luck.
