  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Why is it harder? What you're suggesting is that instances of what you've searched for are frequently in there! Well it's a big and popular mega-thread, but surely a "find" is good? Simply enter the mega-thread and use the "Search this Thread" option with the same keyword(s), and you'll find the instances that occur there! Not too much trouble, surely!

    I could be wrong but i think that his problem is that doesnt know how to use the advanced search function where you can search names just by the title of the threads.

    You wouldnt believe how many people doesnt know (probably for being lazy) how to use that tool properly.

    The other day i was at a friends home and saw him trying to search a movie in a forum. He wrote the FULL name of the movie in the search tab and just clicked "go". I was like WTF are you doing. I explained him how to find the right thread in a way where you dont get pages and pages of useless posts. I think that after that he was happier than during his birthday party because he had been using that method for years!!

    If that's the case ktm, all he has to do is ask for assistance and myself, and any of the other "reds", as well as many of the members would be more than happy to assist. There's no need to get stressed/pissy about it. ;)
