Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    It's the same file type, size and host. The original was most likely posted before the HD section was introduced.

    It was which is why it isn't considered a repost.

    He posted his thread before you added the 1080 links to the original so it isn't considered a repost. He should have added it to your original thread though.

    He did do a search as he referenced your thread and another in his thread and that those links were dead.

    Not to be “cheeky” or an annoyance, but can I confirm my rule understanding on one point?

    I have some good videos that I know are popular but they have already been posted here with FileSonic links. I know Hotfile links are very popular with board members. So, I can repost again with HotFile links, as long as I direct to the original post with Filesonic links within my post, is that correct?

    Also, I plan on posting with new HotfFle links only for FileSonic posts that are over one month old, so the OP will have already gotten plenty of views from their post.

    Any problem or concerns with this?

    rowemike you can do it that way or you can post a reply in the threads in question and add your alternative filehosts. If the links are dead in the original thread you can do it either way. :)

    If you decide to start your very own thread it is a nice thing too link to the original thread. Your not gonna get banned if you forget it.

    You can start your own new thread with the same vid on a different allowed host if it's not within 72 hours after the first vid got posted.

    I would prefer it if you post your alternate host as an add in the orig thread.

    No need for filehost tags in the amateur model forum atm ;)
