I believe truth is subjective to us, but there is an objective truth, outside of our understanding.

A lie would be objective though.

That is my state of mind at the moment, like always I'm open for other interpretation, and maybe re-shaping my thoughts.

What would you define as a subjective truth and an objective truth?

I'm not a street party or ankles sort of guy. :-|

 

Subjective, would be what individuals see as the truth, objective would be what really is.

 

So basic reality vs. perspective reality?

 

I guess. That sounds right.

 

Well then basic reality would be a general truth.....and perspective reality would be truth to that particular person.....unless you want to go deeper and question how much reality is reality and how much of it s perspective.

 

I could go deeper, but that would make me think for weeks.

I have done that before many times, and makes it hard to sleep...lol

 

I know the feeling.

 

The thing is, after you question one ting, it usually lead to other things, and before you know you go insane, if you don't have enough discipline to stop it. And even when you try to stop it, it takes a while for everything to go away.

My biggest one was when I thought about life, in the singular, as we usually say we have, however our body has enumerable lives, from micro organisms, to bacterias and cells, and many other things, so is more like a fuse of many life into one. That lead me for a theory on the whole world and Universe, but after a few weeks, I just abandon and try not to think of it to much.

I try to talk to one of my best buddies, he stop me before I could finish my first sentence....lol

 

What I've learned from thinking is that the more you learn things the more you come realize how much you don't know....it's a paradox really......much like a lot of things.

 

Oh yeah, I have said something towards that before. Something like the more you dig, the darker it gets.

I have an open mind about pretty much everything, but most people have a set of mind. I don't blame them thought, is probable easier.

 

It is easier.....another thing you learn once you start thinking....ignorance is the only way to true happiness.

I just have to act dumb I guess, when talking to people. There is one of the reasons I'm super quiet, I'm afraid to talk and get that look...lol

 

That's exactly how I am.....in-fact I'm quite sure some people think I'm retarded.


But really it's pointless talking to people who won't really grasp what you are telling them.

 

I get the same vibe. The thing is, people like us is almost non existing, so it usually sucks to be us.

When I watch a movie, I don't mind shutting my brain down and just enjoying, is harder to do on a conversation though.

Because people usually don't think much before they talk or act, they seem to do much of that too, so before I can say anything about it, the conversation is already switched. And then I get the (why you so quiet over there)...lol

I'm better at talking to people one on one.
