    I mean you can create light in the dark, like by lighting a lighter, but can you create darkness, or just take away light, to make it dark?

    Dark colours absorb, i.e. take away, light. So in that sense you could create darkness.

    I'm talking complete darkness on the physical world. And the way you explain is taking away light, and not creating darkness. You can add and create light, but can you add and create darkness?
