she laid in bed shaking, her gut was in knots. Her mother sent her off to bed becouse he was in one of his "moods" again. That meant he was drunk or high on some drug, that meant that tonight would be a very nervous place to be. She laid there and thought, there cant possibly be a god, how could god let this happen over and over.

as a young teen girl, there were going to be a lot of firsts for Abby. her first kiss, her first taste of beer, and in this case, her first slaughter. The leader of the compound had insisted that Abby be the one to pull the trigger, he said it was her turn becouse it was her responsibility as they were her parents. And so there she stood in the hot Texas sun with the group of everyone out there and her parents tide to a post. the scene looked like something out of an old western movies. Except in this movie there would be no lone ranger, and in this movie a ten year old girl would do the shooting.

its all fiction. just a quick scene playing in my head.

no. that one ends. i was thinking of writing a short story of a girl growing up in the mid 1930's in the mountains. her family is dirt poor. her mother is trying hard to raise a family, doing "whatever it takes" to put food on the table. and her father is a drunk that comes home late at night and molests his two daughter.

but im having trouble finding the comic side of it.
