  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    strange the client are sending out requests for an ip... but the server ain't receiving them?

    maybe it can't be done with a crossed tp cable!

    I might have one... but I don't understand why I would need one. I read that dhcp doesn't work over a router unless you set the server to compensate for it, and a crossed cable should work between computers without the need of a router... but I have also used straight cables without router, and crossed with a router and they have worked well.

    fucking strange.. have to read some more into this. maybe I have forgotten to set something up on the server
