Your situation really sucks! There should be something in the law to allow for your situation??
However????.Let?s assume the government allows you and and your live in girlfriend to be covered??..
Now anyone who lives with ANYONE can be covered. I could live with my sister, my brother, my next door neighbor, for all the government knows an Ex girlfriend in California that I still bang could claim she is my live in lover??..If she played the system right??? Anyone whom had insurance could basically pay a bit more and cover whomever they wanted...I got no problem with that........As long as more money is being paid in to the system by YOU to cover your "dependent"???I'm sure you wouldn't mind paying a bit more to have her covered.......BTW.........The company I work for does exactly that.....With a bit of proof they are a dependent............they are covered....

I've never heard that....within the confines of marriage the Church would have promoted sex and child baring as it increases their numbers.

They learned soon enough that they couldn't keep people from wanting to get married to each other.

 

I think in a few decades the whole debate about gay marriage will seem just as ridiculous as the debate about "interracial" marriage seems to us now. Well, most of us, I hope.
