I would actually say that the main problem with religion today is that it tries to fix every bodies moral campus rather than just adapting with the times....it's not 1 AD anymore.......is they actually welcomed things like homosexuality, abortion, equal rights then they would be doing some good rather than being fucking dogmatic prudes.

There isn't a God....we did invent one....it's like Santa Claus for adults....the faithful get the illusion of gifts and sinners get the anxiety of receiving their lump of coal.

 

I believe in a spiritual world...where there is a Greater energy,...that flows thru each of us....every man, woman, animal, plant....everything...and I believe....that there is more than we see with our eyes. If we close our eyes...the universe is a much more vivid, sensual place. I do not believe in killing but I have learned to just accept that everything comes to pass...and we can NOT control the masses,....but we can influence our innermost circles by our actions, and that transcends like ripples in a pond.

The reality is that there are multiple versions of Christianity and appeal to various types of people ....just look at that site Yay showed us for starters thats an extreme view just as there are extreme views on Islam Hindu etc I can't say that any religion is perfect (because its not) but the basic premise is a good place to start :2cent:

religion is a bunch of hogwash

you do NOT need a god to make you be a good person
you have to be a good person on your own...and it doesnt matter if there is a God or not
but it doesnt hurt to think of a higher power or a God...or something like that
dedication, and discipline are some good things that come from some Religious concepts

 

Forget the extremists...they are fucking nuts anyway....I think the basic concept of religion today is (or should be) uniting people together....and that can't be done if you judge and criticise half the things that people do.

I thought it meant no gay prostitutes hanging around our streets.
