    I saw a fascinating documentary on it. One of the main reasons animals don't have the same ability to evolve brain capacity like we do, is that animals do not yet have the ability to problem solve, and then pass that knowledge on to subsequent generations, with those new generations adding it to their knowledge base, expanding on it, and creating a history. It turns out that octopi are on the verge of doing this. The only problem octopi currently have is that they have too short a life span to develop properly an evolving brain. And, make no mistake, the octopus brain is not like the standard brain model that were are accustomed to, like how ours is. Their brains are actually divided and separated into different parts. Which, biologists speculate, that if ocotpi get that jump in brain evolution like we did, their format could be far superior to ours.

    I always thought that the reason Humans didn't evolve was their large population....any strain of evolution just gets lost in the flood.

    Who the fuck is Paul? :confused:
    Saw something on Discovery or Animal Planet about that. Pretty amazing. Something eventually has to come along and supplant us, why not them? The only other thing they'll need is a spine (or good orthopedic support of some design).
