very busy today there pm. been on the phone pretty much all day letting current coworkers know that I will be leaving in 2 weeks.

She is excited that I have been given the job there Cold.

but She is leaving town this weekend. doh. She's only on a one month rotation.

 

Can't you take her out for a drink or so?

no She's a Base Manager of a Medivac (Medical Evacuation) Airline. if there is a bad enough emergency our Hospital can't handle they fly us down to the City. so She is basically on call all the time and can not sip anything.

LOL one of the Base Managers for one of the Airlines is out of town. He takes care of Cargo and Passengers Buildings for the Airline. I went over to Airline Office, my Friend there for the last 13 years was paid back a bottle of wine from the German Babe. now we were in the Office away from the Public, the bottle was on the desk. I told her "when the Boss is away eh, where is my glass?"

she asked "what?" then I eyeballed the bottle of wine, she just laughed and said that it was not a screw cap and no corkscrew in the office.

 

A drink won't mean alcohol, some soda or so would do. Because she won't be there when you get new job, you take here out to celebrate this weekend

 

She already left the building there Cold. plus she has a boyfriend.

was just talking with the Fuel Manager down at the Company I'm joining. we had a little problem with the Power going to our Fuel Building earlier this week. told him that if there was any problems to call me on my Cell tomorrow as he's covering off for one that is feeling sick.

he told me that he stood back and watched me handle the problem and that he was impressed with the way I handled the problem, the way I kept everyone in the loop of what the plan to attack the scenario was. heh cool.

I have been out with the girlfriend of my best buddy, just as friends who have a good time. Her boyfriend didn't wanna go out so we went to play some pool and had fun
