    I am sorry Jack.. yes, I have fits reading the foreword..because its instinctive to skip ...but A college professor once... explained...that the foreword gives you insight into the authors direction and establishes the the environment for the context of the book. Especially important whence referring to Text Books, because in every writing ....no matter how factual...is a voice..and that voice could be biased in one direction or another...sometimes heavily.....

    I find them boring sometimes.. The one for Dorian Gray...ugh..kill me..how many times are you gonna say the guys gay...in like 17 word phrases....ok dudes gay.. bad in the 1800s...hell they had crazy shit back then...lol

If he doesn't come back and give us at least a halfassed explanation for his absence I'm of a mind to go down to where he works on his day off and make a huge, embarrassing spectacle of myself and then claim he dared me to do it. :p

    Actually I try to avoid reading any info or reviews about the book or author because I feel it changes my perception of the book.
