Is this a contract you're working on or did you take a job with them bg? I'm sure it gets old, I used to travel a lot with my past job it was just daily road travel, didn't have to stay a week away. Don't think I could do that.

It's a balmy 29F with 10 mph wind out of the north right now. That's the way it usually is down here, it rains then the cold front comes in after, so no snow/ice.

im staying away 2 weeks at a time,but this week im going back early so it will only be one, its a 6 month gig, then it goes month to month, i cant quit but they can fire me. so its pretty normal.

i like the sound of no snow, i was just sorting the weather here, it seems its still a level 3 outside, so no travel allowed. i wish i had my jeep with me then i could travel about and they would just smile and wave "oh hes in a jeep, hell be fine" they will say to one another.

I love snow, but the differnce is here we only get it every now and then and it hardly ever lasts more than a couple of days. The roads are usually passable a few hours after it quits too, unless it's ice ofcourse. If I had to deal with it every day I'd probably hate it like everyone up north does.

this is nothing compared to what i dealt with in anchorage, this would not even be a reason to close school. but here they're simply not able to cope with it, so everything shuts down.
i dont know if i was supposed to go into the office today, i think i was supposed to stay home, i guess ill find out tomorrow.

i liked bama when i went there, i spent some time in dothan at rucker, and a few other places here and there.

i would say the hardest part is my son is only 2 and a half, so he is learning by leaps and bounds right now, and im sort of missing him a lot. but thats about it.

Dothan is kind of a dirty place to me but it's alright I guess. I like it here though, don't ever see myself moving to another state.

Yep, that's what would be so hard for me too, couldn't imagine not seeing my kids do certain things. They're all older now so it wouldn't be quite as bad but still.

yeah, a break from the wife is always a good thing. Things always go smoother at home after I'm gone for a week for school or whatever then come back home. I could use a week or so now come to think of it.

What do you mean? Most everything in on computers here, the changes going on right now are a lot of the systems are not sending the patient data to our EMR (electronic medical record) system. We've got a shit load of them that I'm in the middle of upgrading and adding that function.
