I'm not happy with the color of this labyrinth. I think we should paint it a pleasant champagne hue - textured of course - and install sugar maple wainscoating. And 3 piece crown molding with denta block would be a nice compliment as well.

No, no. Warm and inviting is the ticket. A deep, cut pile carpeting is in order too. Easier on the feet you see. Will allow for wandering about in stocking feet should the participants choose. I think there should be strategically placed beverage and snack nooks incorporated into the overall design where people can gather and compare notes on their progress while enjoying a bit of comraderie and a cup of tea or coffee or what have you. And donuts.
