There's a drug called Haldol (or Haloperidol) which is given to psychotic patients going through a crises. It keeps them subdued, deadens the emotions, makes them feel like robots. Often one of the side effects is the loss of control over the extremities.

I'd say the Igloo would benefit from your presence Jack but in truth I think it would just be wasted on most of them. Those who appreciate the nature of this thread have already discovered it. And those who haven't will in their own time. I seldom promote this thread because I seldom come across a member whose presence in here would enhance the experience. This is sort of the anti-chat thread, but in no way anti-social. Does that make sense?

Come to think of it....that is actually one of the reasons I don't go in there...it's pointless to make jokes and not have people understand the complex ridiculousness of them.


This thread isn't so much chat as just a vat of random thoughts bizarrely expressed.....that's why I love it.

Thanks and welcome..
But I do agree with yay that Igloo is a place where
someone is always present and if one needs to talk to someone..
I go there in routine and say hello and maybe exchange
a few words with some guys as my timing clashes with the
generally busy time..
I also agree that I cannot see myself describing my minute to minute
existance like live on a reality show and thats why my stay there is as sporadic
as here..

 

Actually I view it more as a whimsical play.

 

But why is your stay sporadic here?

 

Because I am not young and free like you..

These are my office timings and even though
I am my own boss yet there is work to be
done, people to be met and money to be made..
