I shouldn't've brought up my daughter in the "I wish" thread, it just spiraled out of control. I don't come here looking for surcease in her case, it' an unfair burden to place on other members no matter how sincere and empathetic their responses to my dilemma are. I appreciate their sentiments more than I can express, but it's a can of worms best left unopened. My point is that it's possible through personal selfishness or conceit (which I'm certainly guilty) to lift our personal issues to a level above and beyond their relevance to others. Call me emotionally conservative if you wish, but I try not to make assumptions usually.

Which is very true. We can never make someone understand what an idea means to us and it is selfish to think we can. Hence why I have made many of the statements I have recently. Things matter to me and help me but I shall no longer expect anyone think anything else than what they do. I am not enough of an eloquent man to explain and then it would be wrong of me to expect other to make people get what I am saying. It matters to me. That is all that matters.

 

I think it's only natural to bring your troubles up when you feel comfortable and relaxed with a person or even a whole group of persons. It's always a sign of great appreciation and trust when someone feels they can open up like that.

 

Winter can suck my balls.
