    PS: For the noobs that still don't know how to download a protected image ...
    In Firefox install "ImageGrabber" as add-on ... restart FF ... in the right lower corner you'll see a small green icon ... click on it and it will download the image to your FF downloads folder (blablabla: Documents/Downloads). ;)

    Seriously most of the covers posted here are better than the ones you see on record store shelves! How much do album cover designers get paid? It's clearly money for old rope! ;)

    Love this one - I would buy that album for the band name and title alone!

    You don't need to install anything in FireFox.

    Go to "Extra", "Page-info", click on "media", there you can scroll thru the list till you found your pic. You can save it with "save button"

    It's freakish how well the photo and album title paired together. The band name was kind of a dud, though, so I decided to minimize it as much as I thought I could get away with. I really liked the black bars at the top and the bottom, too; those were part of the original image, I didn't add those. I only cropped the image to get the 1:1 aspect ratio.

    I figure this group is some kind of low-key indie rock, like Belle & Sebastian or Magnetic Fields.

    There must be some shareware that's better than Win Paint. I use an old copy of Photoshop that I got from work a few years ago, so I don't have any idea what's available, but maybe somebody around here can recommend you something.

    What was the text? It seems to have worked out well, regardless.

    Good idea MovieHound, for this I'm picturing a solo artist. Some kinda loner, lo-fi, freak-folk music, with weird instrumentation and open tunings.

    Like Jack Rose mixed with Bert Jansch, Kurt Vile and John Fahey.
