    My day was long and exhausting, like most days. I need the weekend time to relax and refresh my batteries, so there's not much going out and partying going on lately. :(
    My idea of a good time at the moment is staying in with books and good food and a little online fun, in the warmer months also a little cycling and walking.

    (Yeah, I'm a bore.)

    That's not boring, that's basically me (except for the bit about long and exhausting days) for the most part.
    Pretty much the point of my nightly walk. I live less than 3 Km from the Strip. I take the bus to LV Blvd., walk a couple miles north and then back, stopping along the way to chat with tourists or friends I know that work down there. Listen to a local band or two, have a few drinks. I don't spend much because I know where to get cheap drinks, or bring beers with me from home. It's a fun way to kill an evening. Better than TV anyway imo. ;)

    Definitely better than TV. It sounds great. You're lucky to live in such an interesting, busy place. Plus, it's always warm enough for walks.

    I've lived in several interesting places. I grew up in Chicago, a great town for food and music and nightlife. The Same could be said for New Orleans, another great city I've lived in. hmmmmm... starting to see a pattern here. :33:

    I've lived in a small town before. Norwood Colorado, population 450 or so. It's a beautiful area...
