    Looking at this I don't think there is any cooking involved as the alcohol would probably kill all the bacteria you might find in the eggs :2cent:

    The link you sent didn't involve any heating.......makes it simpler....but would simply adding alcohol kill off the bacteria?

    The eggs we get here are really far from organic and I'm a bit worried about that.

    Eggs aren't cooked at all Jack. I don't like eggnog myself, maybe it's just been the people that's made it didn't make it right...I dunno.
