8am and still dark out.

 

Ahh winter.

 

I think I'll dress up as......Furball.

 

You actually like that, don't you???

Then I'll go as razor.

 

I like winter....cold days....distant sun...frost bitten barks...snowy fields.....



You can shave me.

 

You get snow down there?

 

No.

Just have to hear about it from books and movies.

 

That's probably why I have such a romantic ideal of it rather than just sleeping ass first into a pill of snow.

Trust me, when you have to get up at 6am, not wanting to leave the warmth of your bed (your feet just have to begun to feel warm), stumbling through a cold apartment, seeing the snow fall outside, knowing you have to go out there...

When you have to ride your bicycle through the slush, the driving snow hitting your face, the cold making it hard to breathe, scared that you might slip and crash any minute....

When you see the dirty snow slush piled left and right of the city streets, when you ruin your new suede boots because you encounter a snow drift which you can't find a way around, no you have to go THROUGH it, with the snow coming up to your knees....

When there's ice rain and sleet and the whole mush freezes over at night and you have to fear for your life when you go out, trying not to break your neck....

Then you can talk about how much you love winter.

 

this story makes me sad....... cant we just stay in bed with a glass of wine and order take out and have a buffet of goodies?

 

I wouldn't mind giving that a go.

 

Can I come?

 

The best thing about winter is when you cuddle up inside and watch the snow fall outside, hear the wind howl, while you're all warm and snuggly, maybe wrapped in a fluffy blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and a warm, purring cat on your tits.
