In my area our council seems singularly inept in its choice of street trees

Plane trees once they are over 20 hollow out in the middle and fall down
Camphor Laurels seed everywhere and is a declared weed pretty much everywhere else
Golden Rain trees ditto and have an extremely high pollen count making it extremely nasty for asthmatics
Liquidambers have nasty spiky seed pods that can become projectiles when you are mowing

My brother has a liquidamber that is dying but council won't allow him to remove it despite its dropping branches and looks like crap for another 3 years and in its current state they claim the tree is worth $130000 and thats what they'll fine him if he cuts it down

 

Drunk eh? Watch out for the German Blonde she'll try and take you home and lock you in her basement along with Biscuit666

 

At least you have a council....the only trees here are planted by birds and animals.

No, but I have this cat grass which makes them puke.

 

Thats not very nice mind you my first cat was that laid back giving him catnip would make him all aggressive and on my ragdoll has no effect
