Yep Yay, I'm not real happy about it. I go on call again starting today so I know I'll get at least 1 call. That'll be 2 hours anyway.

We never get paid for overtime, they always make us take time off for it. It wouldn't pay much anyway after taxes...

    Gotcha

We get something per hour for just being on call, can't remember exactly what it is. Totals up $170 bucks for the week. When we get calls - we get 1 hour minimum if we fix the call from home and 2 hour minimum if we have to come in. You get paid more if you work over the minimum.

We time and 1/2 here. Depends on how many hours over you work on how much taxes get taken out on you. There's different tax brackets for different $ amounts. I can work 6 or 7 hours over, then work about 15 and bring home close to the same amount. Uncle Sam gets the rest.

But you wouldn't know what to do with it! You'd get bored and lazy sitting in your underwear at your pool all day and wishing for me to come and clean it in a white t-shirt. :p

Normaly we can carry hours of 1 week to next year, the bosses can make an exception so you can carry all hours to next year if you can't take the time off because you are needed at work. I did have one year that i took 100+ hours to next year because we had a move from buildings and couldn't take time off.

lol - nah, I'm VERY active. I stay outside constantly doing things around the house. I do think I would if I were to take 3 weeks at 1 time though.
