We have had rain non stop for a week here !!! Still, Ive had 4 weeks off work so can't moan !!! hahaha

it's 2:36am and I just had a couple of sips of vodka before bed Funky.

decided to post a few before munching then crashing.

 

And before you know it Inuk, It'll be 6am

 

I haven't decided what my 40k will be so I'm trying not to post that much.

damn, haven't had an access to cig's for 5 days.

finally had one tonight for first time. doh.

it was a little scary esse.

first approach there was so much low clouds, rain, fog we could barely see the ground. I'm a seriously high mile flier. I estimated we were 400 feet above ground. the whole approach, which is usually at least 10 miles away from final approach, true final approach is 1 mile away. we were 1 mile away and we were at least 500 feet above where we should have been by my estimate. we were at point of no return by my count, Pilot in Command powered up both engines to full power we pulled up, a good friend of mine asked if we were alright, I calmed me told him no prob.

while I tightened my seat belt.

we turned around, Pilot told us we would try again, we came around, I saw the terrain I saw in the previous approach and was calm. 30 seconds later we landed. I was so relieved. after we landed I grabbed my bag, I told the Captain, "thank you i'm the Airport Manager of the Region, great landing."

Captain told me "thanks for the recognition, thanks for recognizing how tough that was"

people see Pilots and Co Pilots strolling down the Air Terminal Building, they are so Professional it's great.

they are the dirtiest bastards in the Building! I've sat in the Jump Seat with the Pilots. the main conversation is each of the sexy Flight Attendants that are on board! hehe, they are so crazy.
