Not at my company. They show us videos twice a year about the "dangers" of unions. They're scared shitless of unions. And they're a huge company, too.

Yes, they could. But we'd get laid off in favor of lower-paid workers. Then those workers would be in the union, but I wouldn't have a job.

I posted this one earlier. (it's the 3rd time for PM!)

 

Anyway, the unionization of my company would cause a lot of bad feelings between the the bosses and the workers. It would make national news over here in the U.S., and it would be analyzed by the media to see if it was the right thing to do. There would be many complications.

 

When you have to do a 2 person job how is then your safety?

there is worker's compensation protection for injuries. the company is responsible.

 

Exactly. The company paid for medical treatment on both my knees over the past 2.5 years.
