One of my facebook friends is from Australia and a huge football fan. Is there a club named Geelong or something? That's the one she supports. She keeps posting pics of her in all kinds of crazy fan make ups.

 

Yeah geelong (cats), they have a good team but they are a bit over rated, dont think they will take the title this year.

 

Hi Ollie. I support the Brisbane Lions, even though I live in WA. I became a Brisbane Bears fan at age 7 and have followed them since, we merged with the Fitzroy Lions at the end of '96.

Yup, Geelong are the current powerhouse, they've played the last 3 Grand Finals and won 2 of them. The first was a comprehensive thrashing of Port Adelaide, to break a 44 year drought. They lost only one game all season in '08 and then lost the GF, and won a thriller against the Saints last year, an absolute epic of a game.

Weren't the Dons like $6.50 or something? Crazy but we've seen worse this year. I went to watch us playe WCE last week, got a ticket in the Eagles members section which was interesting! Good result in the end, but still a woeful season.

 

OK I see.... love all the team names. German football team names are boring. And no one dresses up as a cat for the matches here.
