Yes, I'm pretty zonked. We've been having long nights. We have too many new "kids" now and not enough veterans. That puts all the weight on veterans like me. But that's what they're doing -- nothing I can do about it.

 

I just had a snack. I'm gonna wind down for a few minutes before I go to bed. Did I miss anything good last night?

i see pm, so basically there trying to save money with getting new cheap kids and putting all presure ont he veterans one of the typical errors companies make, since this does not save money.....

Your assessment is correct, ess. The plan is to "turn these kids over" -- they'll get rid of most of them in a month or two, except for the best one or two performers.

 

yea i see that in alot of companies pm, and mostly it turns out that they have to re-hire some veterans because after a few months it only costs more money to keep training the new kids, and it costs the veterans way more time to train and work at the same time, epic failure in a businesses

 

How do companies work at all? Never answer the phones, never call back, have phone numbers which don't work...

Trying to book an appointment at a spa and they are not bloody answering the phone. And when I call them tomorrow they'll probably say they are full up. How the hell can they be full up if they don't answer the phone to take reservations in the first place.

 

it have happened on a place where I once worked too. though they don't wanna pay to have decent workers, so the only ones that come there are inexperienced youths straight out of school. and since no one knows how to do things and they charge the customers too much for a bad performed work they are turning elsewhere to get the job properly done... such a shame really... I don't see that company exist in a few years, unless the concern they are working for will take over...

The problem is that the people who run businesses now are too young. They are not wise enough to understand the concepts you just mentioned. They're just guys in suits with spreadsheets trying to get promoted to a higher position.

 

At my office it works the other way around, we only work with highly educated people or people that have quite some experience, we ahve some trainees some now and then but there not allowed to do that much mostly they only can have a look or help out with the easy stuff, most of our customers pay quite alot for our advice or work, so they might expect out compie does it as quickly and good as possible...

I'm calling the number that's on the website and brochure so it should be alright. It's probably that they have the same people doing 'treatments' as answering the phones and are understaffed.

But I'm gonna try to have a nap now, only slept 3 hours last night.
