  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I wonder why there is not good host to use for hotlinking porn pics here. i was using it to hotlink since imagesocket not showing pics for me. Couple days back i started getting continuous errors and epic fails from the part of lookpic (

    Dunno if its DDOS they facing but its horrible to upload a pic there. Most of the times the uploaded pics aint showing though. Admins, plz look into this issue and fix it if possible. I love this forum very much coz its well moderated and visitors are very encouraging too. So i expect a wise decision from all Phun Lovers :)

    I totally agree. Had the same problems with imagesocket and lookpic is often offline. Hope the admins will find an other good image host.

    One of the problems with lookpic is improper use on the forum.

    Users are using it for full size thumbs on every post, when we specifically ask users to use it for ONE (1) cover pic and use hotlink clickable image for the thumbs.

    The host is getting beatin' up by the bandwidth requirement from this forum, if it keeps up, don't be surprised if they ban Phun.

    Yep it'd be a trouble. btw i hope admin will add some other good hosts too to the list. Seriously we lack options. See in the rules thread there are 4 - 5 image sites which allow hotlinking is added. but only lookpic and imagesocket allows adult images. The thing is a cover picture will give much inspiration for downloaders to download without even visiting the thumbnail host.

    I've read that statement before from others, and I think that is BS, all it does is kill image hosts.

    Additional hosts? Sure, suggest some, and the Admins will be happy to review them.

    The page mentioned by Cold as ice has few hosts which i believe should be fine. Personally in other sites i use image hosting sites like

    http://pixshock.net
    http://immage.de
    http://epikz.net etc.

    Most of these are russian ones but they are in the scene for good time. The final word is with the admins. I am satisfied fully with any decision they gotta take regarding this issue but i believe it'd fix this trouble :)
