    Yep, the edge refine tool. I think it'll prove very useful for sigs because of the small size but when working with a larger canvas you'll probably still need to use it in combination with the old school methods. It also depends on the background how good the result will be. Below is a render that literally took one minute to do, just using the magic wand and edge refine. As you can see it looks much better on a dark background. It's a bit messy because I really put no effort in to doing it, but it still beats slaving away with the pen tool.

    Animated it using Corel X3 and Ulead GIF Animator. Its 1.5MB for you 56K'ers. It's pretty fluid, give it time to load. I made it on my laptop so it suits the speed of it, it might be a little fast for some :-

    Well well, can we see it with just the far left body? Just turn off the other body layers?

    I'm pondering, maybe on a plain red background. A muted scarlet with just the tiniest hint of 3 lights down. You got a real nice foreground for a very classy sig there, Mr X-Roads, Audio type dude.:tup:
