Sliced the base of the left foot when jumping into a lake last Saturday. Needed to get it stitched up and then hit the antibiotics/painkillers. Still on the latter. It's healing, the stitches come out tomorrow and hopefully walking becomes easier after that. Shit happens, it could have been worse though, the wound was wide but fortunately, not too deep.

Good stuff, I can see why you're happy having a day off indoors having worked those kind of hours.

 

Ugh that's it... I'm hungry even tho I ate like 2 hours ago.

Forgive me, I thought your said you were watching "Remember The Titans" That was a good show with Denzell Washington in it. I just misunderstood.

Good that it wasn't to deep or that you didn't hit something metal or such that you would need a tetnus shot from. Stay off of it as much as you can to make sure it doesn't get any infections.

lol - the time by meself is MORE than welcomed. Don't get me wrong, you know I love where I am but the break right now....just can't explain it

 

I did get a t shot, hadn't had one in years as it was. Yeah I've been resting up when possible which has been good.

Eveeyone needs a break, you get drained physically/mentally if you keep at it without having some form of rest.

 

You should have. Never know what kind of stuff could be lurking around in lakes and such. Kinda scary actually.

You got that right! I could tell you a story about the thing's that changed since I've talked to you last but I won't go down that road. I'm just happy that things are settled down as of right now.

 

I did, because it was a rock the foot sliced on they said they'd give me the shot, it didn;t hurt like I thought it would, the local anaesthetic hurt a lot more, they really dig for the bone.

No worries, good that things have settled. Always relaxing to enjoy some quiet beers on a weekend. It's been 8 days since my last one, I hope to resume normality and have a few this week

 

Nah, those aren't to bad. Glad you got one, you never know what can slip up and bite you with things like that.
