    I lost about 90% of my sense of smell about 12 years ago......so I don't taste things like I used to. I used to cook for folks all of the time, but now pretty much just more me......I don't feel confident giving stuff I cook for me to other people......it is usually way too spicy for them and too strong. If I cook for others, I use very little seasoning.......ain't getting old great! :lol:

    i wouldnt say im a good cook over all. I make about 20 things total, but theres 30 years of practice in each one. Took 20 years to get Reuben sandwiches just right, but now i make them better than any restaurant i've ever been to. Expensive as hell tho. ;)

    Not really sure....I got either a really bad cold or the flu and when it was over, my sense of smell never came back... I can smell ammonia, gasoline, Clorox but not much else....if there is a relatively significant order in the air, I sense an odor, but cannot tell you what it is......

    The underlined above is just not frigging possible in my case. i grow my own jabanero peppers and Thai peppers in the front flower garden. The kids bring Wendys with them to this day.
