For some reason I really love this sig, the colors are minimal but they work exceptionally well with the pictures. And the sharpness is great too, as is the text!

I was trying some new stuff out, it's not my best sig I know, but there were 3 or 4 things I wanted to try and incorporated them into one sig

 

Sid, the middle image is excellent - it really stands out, I am however distracted by the two blurred images which draw my eye away from the great pic, it actually not that comfortable looking at the blurred images.

I'd be interested to see them 'normal' and see how the centre 3D like image would stand out - I dont care for the twirls, but that is not exclusive to this sig

^^above sig 6.5/10 I like the J Carson look you managed to give the whole thing, not so much a fan of the effects across her hair. Try cycling through the layer modes on the lens flair too, this one looks more static than a stage light. Put the "S" on top of the frame instead of under it. Fun curvy text

a. curliques
b. middle girl
c. blur girls
d.right background
e. left background?

If so, you need to bring the curliques forward somehow, maybe a lite cone bevel and 30% drop shadow to the outside? The curlies have faded into the background killing the 3d effect. A skew possibly? I'd flip the left blur girl to give it a "charlies angels" logo look.

 

Some good points. What you've said was the idea in my head. everytime I start a sig I think of everything but when I'm doing it I forget it all. I forgot to flip the left pic to make it flow better, I forgot the slight drop shadow on the curly bits to the sides, and I over blurred the two at the back (plus they're a bit big).

I probably won't, but I might give it another go tomorrow, because I had an idea in my head for that sig but I fucked it up.

You dont see it? I have it hosted on phun. Maybe that's the reason for Eve's critique. It didnt make much sense to me.

Critique for this sig


Very clean. Not sure the amount qf blur is justified given that it's only a few inches away from the cleavage. Not against the blur effect to add depth, but I think it's going to be awfully easy to overdo it. Text is quite good and an easy art signature. I wonder about the heavy top/bottom lines. I understood its use to make the sig look wider in the old dimensions, but do we need it now?
I'm not saying one way or the other, but with the ratio change, we certainly have enough width. I think I'd go ahead and edit out the lotion bottle she's pouring. The cap on it drew my attention on close inspection. Overall, a nice bikini sig. 7.5/10
