I've never started a poll AFX.

 

sure, dont use the top set of buttons. scroll down a bit and use the buttons BELOW the poll options. make sure to check the PUBLIC option check box.

You did check "Post a Poll" right?

I've never done one here, but on another site I did dozens, and it wouldn't preview...in fact, the thread would post WHILE you were editing your polls options. So invariably, people would show up and say 'I see no poll' while I was typing in 20 options.

This is how I've got it set up as so far Cylnz and anyone else interested.

 

ok, hit the bottom submit and it will take you to the poll part. your question will be sig duel or something. the entries are 1. & 2. then hit the public chkbox

 

I was actually. I retreated to musical tag. This has been my first venture back out into the forum at large.

By the way...I fucking love polls. Love making them, but mine are always rather and completely useless. I've done polls with 'would you rather' options, guesses about why forum members have left, bad things that might have happened to someone while on vacation, and once a poll about polls themselves.

Polls are my fun, and multi-quote is my bitch. It's how I like forums.

 

Ok I'm still slightly confused. The poll question bit is obvious, but what do I put in the poll options 1 and 2 bits?

 

Springfield Missouri. Where do you come from and why do you ask? That's not meant in a confrontational manner, just curious.

Remember to edit the number of options. Once you submit the thread it will go live and then you have to put your poll up. Pick the option to let people make multiple choices if you want, and be sure to make it show who picked what, it's more fun when it's NOT anonymous. Or maybe I'm just evil like that.

 

The votes have to be made public with no multiple choice options.

 

Those are you ACTUAL options, so if the poll is called 'do you like doughnuts', you might put:

option 1: Yes.
option 2: No.
option 3: I prefer teenage pussy.

And of course, don't actually type 'option 1' or any of that.

 

No worries man, never take this place too seriously. It's part of being the new person. Jamms tore me a new one in one of my first posts, (I doubt he even remembers it) but he's great.
