I'm sure you could find it somewhere. It's pretty expensive but well worth it in my opinion. See I'd much rather have just a few really nice beers instead of a crate of piss.

I'd always rather have a nice root beer, since I don't drink either.

 

If it's rootbeer it must be Barq's

Well I can't say that's how I knew the word. The only places I've ever played in, finding a sommelier would be a bit like playing Where's Wally/Waldo.

 

I've never tried root beer. It's not something you'd find commonly over here as far as I'm aware.

Not even close. If you get the chance, try it. I don't know anyone who doesn't like rootbeer.

 

Oh, rootbeer isnt really an alcy ber it's sasparilla root tea with sugar and carbonation. It's excellent or horrible depends on the kind. If it's fake it's probably the horrible kind.

Some genius about 100 years ago in Ohio, A pharmacist I think, put soda water, sasparilla tea extract and icecream together. It's calle a rootbeer float, and people will kill for a good one.

Barqs still uses the old original recipe, afaik.

I'm going to have to seek out some root beer now. You can get a lot of these American products over here, you just have to search a bit harder.

 

Barqs is what you want. the big product lines are all crap. If it's a coca-cola or pepsi product it's gonna be crap. Barqs is the best bigger named one, but Hyar's is also very good. See, growing up in KC there is nothing to do but eat and have bbq's and rootbeer is kind of a thing around here. They still have rootbeer contests occasionally on july 4th at the parks. Since theres nothing to do here but eat and get the hell out, we're really good on the local "eat" part,

 

I drink Mug root beer. Distributed by the Pepsi people. I'd be surprised if it wasn't over there.
