Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     They always sound a little tinny to me whenever chords are played and strummed, but if it's used right that can actually sound really good.

    You're right, but this is an octave lower than a mandolin, so it's not really that tinny. I mainly picked it up as something to play when it's too late for the drums, but I've got well into it.
