Nah, I am trying to find a niche to work.

Any ideas?

 

I have learned how to do it. The first time I went, I did everything wrong! Constantly stuck in barely moving traffic. I know the town now, including how to get around and what streets to avoid. Plus all the really neat places to go. Daytona bike week encompasses over 100 square miles. I get a place on the beach (literally) for the week, plan each day, get to where I will be that day by 8 AM or so, then go back to the hotel when I am done, usually about mid afternoon. Chill at the hotel, beach, bar or what ever, then go to a good restaurant early for dinner (beat the crowd), then off to the evenings entertainment. Last year when it was cold, we just bopped around the area of the hotel and literally chilled out! Unless it rains the entire time, I always have a good time. But I would not do bike week any other way..... :wink:

At this time? Not really no. Hell, i'm happy to just have a job much less venture in to something new.

Sounds nice! :shock:I didn't know it was that big. I've just 1 bike week in Biloxi, MS several years ago. We made the mistake of eating outside when they came through , the sounds nearly blew us away.

 

Bama, I really miss when my sons were home, in school playing sports......but alast, nothing last for ever. Enjoy it now, my friend!

If I start something website-related though, I need to stick with it. That's my main problem as I usually find a pretty decent niche and screw it up by boredom or just not caring. Thus, it doesn't get updated.

Hopefully in the next few days, I find something that clicks and we're back up running again.

 

Unfortunately, like everything else, there are ass hole bikers too. I have worked to make my hog much more quiet than when I got it. I can't stand to have that drone on long trips. Plus, I am deaf enough already. They (cops) try to keep a lid on the noise and the town spends a great deal of $ with signs welcoming biker, but asking them to be considerate, i.e. not to rev the bikes up especially at night. But it is noisy at times as are NASCAR and drag races.

I do enjoy it, it gets busy as hell at times but it's fun. And I know what you're saying...the oldest is 13 and it seems like yesterday he was playing Tee-ball. Time does go by quicker every year.

Good luck! I know you've gotten bored with it the last couple of times you've started one. Maybe you'll think of something that keeps your interest.
