  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Any chance we can get another image host approved?

    No I don't own the site, I just came across it looking for other host sites to use. You can even just allow this for the Creative Backyard section. :D

    I definitely think it's a good one, because of the unlimited file size limit. ;)

    every imagehoster that allows hotlinking will be killed by "phun-abuse" sooner or later (or kill the hotlinked pics to try to survive)...
    hotlinking causes costly traffic without revenue (no ads).

    if you do decide to test us, we are in process of testing our new servers. we have moved to a cloud server system to deal with the enormous traffic we expect as we grow. this test should be completed today. I do think we can handle the traffic now, but there is no doubt on our performance once we are live on the cloud.

    Hi Capster, it's Sludge from the glam0ur forum ;-)

    I haven't used sharenxs much myself but it's one of our allowed hosts
    and we haven't had any trouble at all with them. I recommend trying them out.

    Do not worry about that. ShareNXS does not support hotlinking, there's one exception though, members who are more active uploadres, upload most, get VIP uploading which allows hotlinking, but it's max 3mb per file and 25mb total gallery size per member, which whole lot better than photobucket.

    yes i would agree with this, but we dont rely on outside advertisement we make our return off the text links above and basically it isnt from free sites we get paid from. it is the google, yahoo links we get in search engines from images being posted on forums as our images are based to a celeb name.

    now we do make some funds off adverts but it is nothing compared to our paysites. this enable us to give a little kick back to poster by allowing signature and gif hosting it for VIP poster people who use our service allot. edited Im not saying we will continue the hotlinking part it depends how much abuse it receives and how many extra users it attracts. but for now we are willing to give a try. it isnt our primary function anyways just a bonus


    we also give kickback to sites that use us by allowing posters to linkback to the site they choose.
