went out to my Truck, my neighbor has a little Jeep. when she started up her engine sounded a little rough. asked her to pop her hood so I could check the engine. sure enough she was low on oil and antifreeze. topped her off and her engine sounds much better. she was happy.

he's a cool lady in her 50's. doesn't know about those things, but helped her out. she tried giving me some money, I just told her to stop being silly, was just being her neighbor.

Manual transmission is the 90% here inuk...only 4x4 have automatic....can you drive manual?

of course I can drive a manual! it's what I learned on. so much fun, I prefer them to the automatics. my 4X4 is an automatic.

 

Yep....

On 4x4 Automatic is better for off-road conditions..its very helpful as the car cant ''stall''...but on the road...automatic limits the car....cant accelerate as fast as manual....

I prefer manual too, wife thinks i'm crazy. My truck is the first automatic i've ever owned.

 

Before i learned to drive i was saying that i'll get an automatic...as i liked the idea of it..its more easily driven in towns with all this traffic...stop and go all the time.....but in open road...manual is better

The 1st automatic i had seen was the 4x4 my father got 10 yrs ago...Toyota Land Cruiser...cant imagine that in manual...

 

I like manual better just because you get better gas milage with them. I go through stop and go traffic most of the way back and forth to work, with manual it's easy to conserve gas by easing up rather than letting the transmission do it.

 

manual is much more fun! ossum how they can accellerate. my Cousin was surprised at how fast I made that little jeep accellerate when I was out driving it around charging up the battery after I boosted it that one day.

my dumb ass other neighbor borrowed her truck. he had it boosted from where he worked. dumb guy didn't even drive it around or let it idle for a while so the alternator can charge up the battery. he drove it a couple blocks back to the apartment. battery was dead again the next day. I boosted it for her and drove it around for a good hour. it was a nice drive.

 

Ok, sorry about that. Lost a ups and had the alarms go off. and had to go downtown to get a replacement. Cant have the phones going out. I miss anything earth shattering?

Should have done some miles to power the battery....

An automatic pickup is a ridiculous thing, kind of like power windows. If you roll over your truck and have power windows how do you get out? Seen it happen a couple times. We just about laughed our asses off. he had to crawl out his sliding rear window both times.
