The board may be a tad slow. Not enough to bother me yet today. ... The knee held up last night, but the fluid returned to the "scene of the crime" and formed another cyst. (They drained 30cc's of fluid from it yesterday morning and gave me a cortisone shot.)

Just ran a few utils and it's running better now. Been a while since I rebooted, guess it's time.

Where are you in your travels?

 

In Detroit there are still places to hear "real jazz" live. And Ed Love has a great show on WDET (the Detroit Public Radio station). Plus I've played so much of it in my life, in various bands, that it feels just like home for me.

 

I'm out of vacation and personal days. Gotta work on it now. :?

Never been to Deleware, would like to see it. Never been anywhere in the northeast come to think of it. NYC and DC yes, but I want to hit the coast at some point in my life.

Leaving tomorrow to go to Tunica, MS to hit the casinos. Memphis is only 1/2 hour away, I think we're gonna run up there for a day to listen to some of the "starving artists". Last time I went it was awesome. You ever been?

 

Never been to Memphis. Nashville is a good city for studio musicians, though.

 

Realized what Jet?

 

Beale street is Memphis is like a mini New Orleans (music, not the flashers ). There is several small bars that have people with only a guitar and a amp that sits on a stool and plays. The beers are about 20 oz. and usually cost little to nothing. I enjoy sitting and listening till I finished my beer then walking to the next one and doing the same.

 

When you find real people playing real music, it's always a pleasure!

 

What did you realize? Why the ban?

 

I have to say it is such a pleasure, as a musician, to play in a good band I can hardly describe it.
