    the whole lawsuit is a joke! they claimed that they lost revenue because people were getting it free. i said before that if they didnt expect to get paid for each movie from theater ticket sales, dvds, movie rentals, ppv, and then the pay movie channels like hbo, starz etc., and then the regular cable channels that will show them in 2 years, and then in the directors cut (or what have you) that comes out 3 years later. *takes a breath*

    What annoys me about the argument is that they know it won't do any good. They even admitted that they knew it wouldn't stop downloads.

    The dirty secret at the heart of all this is that the companies know that the people that buy the most DVDs and watch the most films at the cinema are, by and large, also the people who download the most stuff. ;)
