  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I know Jayhoo is a respected member but I just dont get why this host isnt banned by now.

    this post isnt very old at all aug 2008 and it is littered with deleted images.
    now add all the crap the host is adding instead of improving service.

    Streamate splash pages interrupting your viewing.

    Popup hell on older posts.

    OK OK there are program to counter this but this site is a top 1000 site on the net and tons of visitors dont want or know how to use these services.


    I have a message for Jayhoo and the other Image Hosts ShareNXS is growing and eventually will get approved here and all the top sites. Get control of your advertising and buy more space for pics geesh.

    I suggest upping back-up set on sharenxs so you can easily grab your pics when these other host dump them.

    I apologize if this offends anyone but this type of conduct causes my service to jump through loops because all the previous hosts give me a bad name

    i don't see the "aX." prefix in the url for the pics, so my guess is that the images are missing because they weren't identified as adult content by the uploader not because of lack of server space.

    So we should ban Imagehaven so you can get your image host on the approved list?:rolleyes:

    If its so horrible why continue to use it? Looks like that's all you use.

    If you have real problem with Imagehaven feel free to send JayHoo a PM, he's more than a reasonable guy and will listen to your issues. Since I don't think you have any real issues with them and just wanted to pitch your site again this thread is closed.

    Just to add, IH had some server upgrades the last few days, which probably is why things were slow and such. Jay PMed me before to say all should be good now.
