Old threads - Please Read

isn't bumping this thread a hypocrisy in of itself?

 

Tends to get noticed more with the bump effect rather than being at the top and people skipping past it. Eventually I'll add a link of this to the main celeb rules, but when we see instances of people bumping, this thread can be used to hopefully point out their wrongs.

Still seeing threads getting bumped, often by people who aren't new members, which I find bewildering. When they search for pics of a certain celeb then reply to 6 of them.

I've come across more than a few old topics rising to the surface. So I'm bumping this.

 

I'd like to make a suggestion which can also help with this problem:

Could we please have a clear cut system for requesting re-ups of pics in old threads without the need to bump them up while asking for them.

I know one way can be to ask the original poster but sometimes they may not have the pics anymore or their account might not be active anymore (for the really old stuff!). So in that case only people in the phun community might be able to help and re-up those pics.

An idea to solve this could be to put a sticky "Re-up Requests" thread in the celeb forum (and celeb movie forum) in which we can post the name of the thread and the link to it to request a re-up of the down pics/vids, eliminating the need to bump the thread.

What do you think?

 

I think it's no necesary becouse we have this thread as permanent sticky so if you want a Re-up request just go there and ask for it.
Besides old threads with dead pics are constantly replaced by new ones with pics that works and pointing that the original has no longer the pics on it.

 

There's a request thread which is a sticky in the celeb forum, you can do what you've suggested there and hopefully someone can help out from there. We don't want toc reate another request thread so to speak.

 

You always can PM the Original poster if he still has the pics/ vids, if he does he can re-up them.

 

And if the person doing the request is a regular or someone who has been here a while/made some contributions then hopefully the thread starter would be happy to help. But when it's someone who's just signed up and has made 2-3 posts that does it, it could be different.

ok thats all cool, if original poster doesn't have the pics anymore I'll use the request sticky thread to ask for re-ups then, thanks for the advice.
