I rarely jump in here but I thought I'd see what was going on.

So did everyone partake in the "Earth Hour" thing today?

 

Didn't even know it was today.

 

I'm off for now everyone, need some food. Take it easy.

 

lol, and people wonder why are earth is in the shape it's in!

I took part in it, shut everything off in my place from 8:30 to 9:30. Just sat around playing guitar; working on songs and drinking some wine. It was pretty chilled.

I was at work at the time. We couldn't participate the patrons might have gotten pissed that their movies turned off.

Yeah it's sort of a pointless effort really, like a Flames game was on and you just know the Saddledome isn't shutting the lights off for an hour!

Believe it or not, Alberta's consumption during that hour last year was ABOVE it's usual amount!

Later, Baldwin's on tonight, I watched it earlier, it's a pretty decent episode.

Well they claimed that during the time period of "Earth Hour" itself consumption actually increased throughout the province, which is just completley ass backwards.

Mind you if you drive downtown at night you can see all the highrise office building fully lit, it's a real waste.

Anyways, I hate to leave ya here man but I'm going to go watch Leno for a while.
