    if the cpu maxed out on one of the cores then yes. You gotta remember when you burn a disc you use up hd space cause it has to save that entire video/movie in a temporary folder. If your hd has limited available "good" space left and burning the movie requires you having as much free space as the size of the movie itself then it runs out and gets into the bad sections of your hd. Once that happens the cpu overloads(on one of the cores) and crashes.
