I wasn't being a smartass toolz. Just because i made a point doesn't mean it was being smart or getting your face or whatever mate. I deliberately try to avoid any ill feelings in here as it's got a good vibe going. I could have said the same about your post but i didn't, it was just another post. Chill a bit more.

By the looks, Nems, goback, sid and myself would be interested. I'd say just put an image or set of images in either one of the sig threads and then when you have your sig done post it in the right thread. No need for new threads or anything so formal. I'm just interested in how we'd all work with the same stuff.

I in no way want to get in the way of the SOTW which is the most phun i've had in phun for ages.

there should be no need for a war. there is only one member opposed to this and that is toolz. if he just lets us get on with what we want then it will be friendly here.

You guys already have something that is good in SOTW.....why would you want to ruin that?

 

The word battle is the issue. It wil be exciting to see what differnet members do with the same pic, mark my word toolz, it will be more about exchanging ideas and techniques than a competition. How did you get that shading or font etc. These things are as easy or as complicated as you want. Just trust the men, there has been no conflict with SOTW - the new idea is just one more way to show creativity and if you take part you'll enjoy it. just my opinion.

 

Why is nobody suggesting a single picture theme for sotw then, if so many people like the idea?

Regarding this week's SOTW, I understand that it isn't necessary to be an actual athlete but it can be no matter what woman in a sports related scenario.

But is erotic content allowed? I ask that because I'm not sure the two hosts (picturestash and picturelord) allow it, or they just ban porn?
Anyone knows that?

Why dont you guys just promote SOTW more, and encourage people with that?
Why would you start something new and divert phunners attention away from SOTW? I dont understand you guys at all.

 

I don't get why you are so against it T. You're an imaginative and creative guy, i thought you'd enjoy playing around with different ideas.

No-one at all is trying to take away from or step on SOTW, it's everyones baby and i think we all love it. In fact, the vibe i get from it is that more people seem to be interested in seeing what sigs are put up on friday rather than who wins on sunday.

Just relax and roll with it. If its not your bag don't bother with it and we'll carry on. It won't ditract from SOTW at all. Some of you guys make tons of sigs and i can't see this little diversion stopping either that or SOTW.

Sig battle makes it sound like it's a mega competition but its just folks taking the same stock image and working with it, then posting what they did. No wnners, no polls, just putting up another sig as if it was just another day.

Remember, you didn't like the idea of SOTW and it turned out great. Join in, it'll be fun.

 

well, same here - or better i can´t stop you. i personally find it pretty inappropriate to start a battle with sigs.

i like the way sigs are showcased on phun and i´d like to see more encouraging, teaching, sharing tips & tricks instead of even more "competition".

but as i said - i can´t stop you. i just can ask you to leave it to the SOTW.
people are already losing interest for all the other sig-threads...

 

As I understand the current theme, if you wanted to cover something like naked volleyball it should be ok. Try using this host for adult content sigs.

You need to sign up for it but, its free and seems very stable for now. You'll also have another place for storing your creations.

 

I also agree that there are enough sig threads already, and SOTW is doing great, I really like it, and although I don't see any problem if someone wants sig battles, I believe SOTW as it is now is more than enough for experimenting and sharing techniques.

Thanks, I ended up using one of the hosts I mentioned, although it's erotic there isn't any frontal nudity so I don't think it will be a problem.

 

well, with 20 people entering, one source image, it just wouldn't work as well as a theme imo.

but it doesn't even have to be a battle as such. nothing wrong with that though. people will fight it, but then them people will realise it's fun and will join in. just take SOTW as an example.

 

there is nothing else really going on in the backyard. so i dunno why everyone is saying there are too many sig threads?
there are two showcase threads, a safehaven and SOTW. that's not a lot.
and there is nothing wrong with starting new threads for new ideas, the people who want them will participate. why limit it to what we have? my feelings were that phun's creativity was evolving, but some people seem to want to stop that.

 

Nobody is trying to stop you from being creative. You have pleanty of room for creativity with the threads you already have for sigs sid.
