    Long story short my boss is retiring at the end of this month. They've asked him to stay on as contracted labor just till our new fiscal year comes around (June) to help with the new budget. We spend ~ 10 million a year on new equipment, contracts, etc. I guess everyone thinks he's already gone because i'm getting all requests to help decide and implement all new systems. The one's that don't go through me, my boss has dumped on me to do as well. Yet, i'm labeled a network administrator.

    It would be easy for me to find another job but with the economy like it is it would be a huge risk to leave healthcare and go to a reseller environment. I have to put putting food on the table for my family above my happiness in a career.
