Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     All the IT computers at my high school were 5 1/4 when i arrived, and by the time i finished my GCSE's at 16, they'd finally switched over all of them to 3.5 inch.

    By the time I finished year 12 all the pc's had cd-rom drives and were atleast pentium3's.

    One of my towers has a 3 1/2 inch drive, but my `new` computer (ie 2 year old) doesn't. I'd be surprised if any company even builds new towers with 3 1/2 disk drives anymore.

    I've built my last three or four pc's and have not incorporated a 3 1/4 floppy drive into them. Only when I rand Windows 95/98 did I use one, so I could bootdisk and format c:

    I don't own a thumb drive, should get one I reckon.
