    Hey guys! sorry for not reading the last couple of pages but i also like ww2 planes, i was into them as a kid, the p51's are awesome as are the 47's and spitfires! some of the german planes were mad too but i cant recall the names as it's been awhile!

    yeah, love the old warbirds. the germans made some that look nice, but i love the p-38 and p-51, i think those two are the best looking from that war.

    Here's the thing: He never talked about WW2 to us as kids. (He passed away 4 years ago.) I assume he was trained to be a fighter pilot. I don't know what planes he flew. EDIT: He ended up teaching flight classes in the Navy as the war ended.
