Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     The other night I saw Dweezil Zappa's Zappa Plays Zappa on tv. Very impressive. It's on CD and DVD and I recommend it if you haven't heard it. He and his band play stuff from the 70's - Apostrophe, Overnight Senstion, Roxy and Elsewhere, Zoot Allures, etc. He said he spent 2 years learning the material and it shows. He auditioned musicians of his own age (he's 38 now) and man did he find some awesome talent. He also has Napolean Murphy Brown, Steve Vai and Terry Bozzio join the mix. If you never got a chance to see Frank, this definitely the next best thing. I was blown away!

    I think they have been, but not altogether sure.

    It's Mystique Magazine by the way. They were either posted as an individual thread, or in theslayer's Mystique Magazine thread. You might want to double check. ;)

    Yeah I've seen them live and they are awesome. I actually think it's a great thing he's doing. The more people introduced to his fathers music the better as far as I'm concerned. It's interesting that Dweezil actually learned on guitar some very complex parts originally intended for things like the glockenspiel.

    Dweezil mentioned that in the interview. Said he had to learn a whole different way to pick his guitar.
