Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I have experienced this a couple of times and seen the same issue on some other postings and I was wondering if anyone could help figure out what the problem is.

    When I place a link into a post I am working on and then save, some of the characters are replaced with *'s.

    For example:

    9***5 (this should be - nine six seven eight five - same as in the link above)

    It does not have the *'s when I copy or paste. The above showed up as I previewd this posting. You can see that the same numbers in the link and just a simple type of the same number has been replaced also

    Your help would be appreciated

    to decrease the ammount of (quite often harmful) spam we implemented some spam-filters. one of those filters turns specific (recognised as spam) text (and so also links - mostly link-shorteners and a few well-known cash-hosts) automatically and on the fly into a line of asterixs . obviously this effects also non-spam-intended text and links. working on that.

    No, that is the actual numbers in the forum codes on imagevenue for those images.

    When I paste the codes everything looks great. Those numbers do not change until after I preview post or submit post.
